I picked this red set for my younger sister a few weeks before Gudi Padwa. Sizing on the top runs true so go by the chart and you will be fine. The little one spun in front of the mirror for a good while after wearing it. A good buy and an easy one to recommend.
I picked up this set for my daughter when her birthday came around. What worked best for me is the flower detailing. The fit was exactly as described so there was no last minute panic. My daughter keeps asking when the next celebration is so she can wear it again. Anyone shopping for a young girl can order this with confidence.
This came home for the daughter of my brother after weeks of scrolling through similar sets. The strap neckline is finished neatly and does not slip at all. The set arrived folded neatly with tissue between the top and the flared skirt. My niece said the kota doriya cotton felt soft against her skin. Money well spent on something she will treasure.
Ordered this for the daughter of my cousin along with matching bangles from elsewhere. The red photographs very well under evening lights. The little one announced that this is what she will wear for the coming wedding too. The waist needed a slight tuck for a smaller child.
This kota doriya set was chosen for my goddaughter who wanted something different from her usual frocks. The tone of the red works for both morning and evening functions. The red on the flared skirt matches the top precisely which is not always the case. Her mother said the kota doriya cotton held up well even with all the running about. Will surely order again for the younger cousins.
I wanted something special for my niece for Gudi Padwa and this matched what I had in mind exactly. There is a nice fall to the flared skirt and it does not bunch up. The little one would not agree to change out of it that entire day. I would give it more than five stars if that were possible.
Sent this across to my daughter as a gift for Janmashtami. The flared skirt holds its shape instead of drooping after an hour. Compared to what I paid last year for something similar this is far better made. She told me it was the best gift she got that year. I am glad I did not settle for something from the market.
We were shopping for the daughter of my cousin for Lohri and this set was the one that caught our eye. The flared skirt has a proper adjustable waist which made the fit simple to manage. The kota doriya cotton has held its shape through a whole night of dancing. She said it did not pinch anywhere unlike her older sets. I will be back before the next festive season.
This set was ordered as a little surprise for my granddaughter. The top washed up at the dry cleaner with no change in shape at all. Her mother told me the strap neckline sat beautifully which is usually the problem area.
For a naming ceremony I wanted my niece to have something handpicked rather than something rushed. The floral print looks handworked rather than machine finished. She did not want to take it off even for dinner.
Picked this for the daughter of my colleague to wear during the pooja on Diwali. I liked that the flower detailing has not been overdone. The straps are long enough to be let out as she grows. She kept checking herself in every mirror she walked by. A sensible pick if you are gifting to a child.
Bought this for my sister in law and her daughter ahead of a family puja and it spared me a lot of running around. The top kept its shape all evening without needing a single pin. The little one was comfortable enough to sit through the whole ceremony without any fidgeting. Would recommend this to anyone shopping for a little one.
A gift for my granddaughter who had been asking for a new set since a family wedding was announced. The delivery update was accurate right up to the doorstep. The little one thanked me twice which she almost never does. The kota doriya cotton creases a little more easily than I expected.
I had promised my sister in law and her daughter a new outfit for Karwa Chauth evening at home and this is what I landed on. The top is cut well and sits properly on the shoulders. The red held up beautifully in every photograph taken through the evening. She wanted to keep it on at bedtime which tells you everything. Very pleased with the whole experience.
